This Website Privacy & Cookie Policy explains what information Wang and Cortes Dental (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit yoursouthtampadentist.com, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. How we protect your health information as a patient is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use our appointment request form, we receive the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, reason for your visit, preferred date and time, and any notes. Please do not include detailed medical information in the form. Our team will follow up with you by phone or email.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting provider and the services described below receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and the website that referred you.

Cookies and similar technologies

We group the tools on this site into the categories below. You can see and change your choices at any time with the “Cookie Preferences” link at the bottom of every page.

Strictly necessary (always active)

Website hosting and security (Webflow): delivers the site and protects it from abuse.
Your cookie choice (wc_consent cookie): remembers the choice you made in our cookie banner for 180 days.
Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA): runs on our appointment request form to block automated spam. Google may collect device and browser information and set cookies for this purpose.
Maps (Google Maps): shows our location on the Contact and Book Appointment pages. Google may set cookies when the map loads.
Videos (YouTube): where a video appears, its preview image loads from YouTube. The video itself plays from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) only after you click play.

Call tracking (always active)

We use PatientLoop to understand how patients find us. PatientLoop looks at the website that sent you here and any campaign tags in the link you followed (for example UTM tags or ad click IDs). It may show a different phone number on the site for that purpose; calls to that number ring our office. It stores cookies such as pl_landing_path, pl_landing_url and pl_referrer, plus campaign cookies when your link includes campaign tags (up to 90 days), and a source cookie (1 day). It also adds your referral source, the first page you landed on, and your device and browser type to appointment requests sent through our form. When you arrive from an ad or campaign link, it sends that visit information to PatientLoop. If you have allowed Analytics, it also includes your Google Analytics visitor ID.

Analytics (only with your permission)

If you choose “Accept All” or turn on Analytics, we use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, clicks on phone numbers and online booking links, and form submissions, along with approximate location and device information. Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_ cookies, which last up to 2 years. Analytics does not run on our appointment request page. Our setup tells Google not to use this data for advertising or ad personalization. If you reject or later withdraw consent, Analytics does not load and its cookies are deleted.

Your choices

Accept All turns on Analytics.
Reject All keeps Analytics off. Strictly necessary tools and call tracking still run.
Manage Preferences lets you turn Analytics on or off.
You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of every page.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a choice to keep Analytics off unless you turn it on yourself.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as expected if you block strictly necessary cookies.

How we use information

We use the information described above to respond to appointment requests, run and secure the website, understand which websites and campaigns lead patients to contact us, and, with your permission, improve the website.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and respond to you: Webflow (website hosting), Basin (appointment request form processing), PatientLoop (call tracking) and Google (Analytics with your permission, Maps, reCAPTCHA and YouTube). If you book online or use the patient portal, you provide your information directly to Modento, which runs those services for us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising cookies on this website.

Other websites

Our online booking and patient portal (Modento), financing partners and social media pages are run by other companies. When you use them, their own privacy policies apply.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13. Parents or guardians should request appointments for their children.

How long we keep information

We keep appointment requests only as long as needed to respond to you and to keep our records as required by law. Cookie durations are listed above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
